French Toast
As a mom in quarantine with a wonderful 2 year-old, I am always trying to find ways to entertain and educate my son. I believe that cooking/baking together is the best way to do both of those things. Some of my fondest memories were created in the kitchen and I hope Sullivan will feel the same. While being my co-host on Peach Betty, he has learned so much though observing me that he has now stolen the show.
I knew that one day Sullivan would be hosting his own show, but did not plan on it coming so soon. We were trying to think of something different to make for breakfast and came across our 1975 Walt Disney Mickey Mouse Cookbook. As soon as I mentioned French toast Sullivan was pushing his bench over to the counter and starting his "welcome to Peach Betty" speech! So I figured I should start recording. It was 8 in the morning, I was not camera ready.... he was all on his own.
I got all of the ingredients out for him and let him loose!
We took the recipe from the book and added our own spin to it. LOTS of cinnamon and vanilla made it extra delicious!
Hope you enjoy them. I see many more Sullivan videos in our future.
xoxo
