Rice Krispie Treats
Foil and butter 9x9 baking tray
- 9 cups toasted rice cereal
- 2 stick of butter
- 2 10 oz bags marshmallows
- 1 Tablespoon vanilla
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- In a large bowl, measure out toasted rice cereal
- In a large saucepan, melt butter
- Continue to boil and brown butter until foamy and little flecks appear
- Pour in bags of marshmallows and salt
- Stir continuously until completely smooth
- Add vanilla and pour into cereal bowl
- Coat all the cereal in marshmallow goo
- Pour into prepared 9x9 baking pan
- Press tightly into pan with spatula
- Chill for 1 hour before cutting
