A few weeks ago a friend of mine asked me if Morgan and I would bake her daughters 1st birthday cake and of course we said yes! Her only request was an owl with fun colors. Here's what we came up with!
We made the owl out of white fondant and adjusted the colors to our liking. The bow and the belly of the owl was my favorite part, looks so cute!
Morgan made white cake and the most yummy buttercream frosting for the special little lady. We had a lot of fun putting the cake together and working together on something so sweet, literally. I had the luxury of delivering the cake and getting to hear the reaction of people at the party. I wish Morgan was there to hear because everyone was so impressed and loved what we came up with.
I mean how cute is this?!
When it was time for cake all the little children gathered around and you could tell they only had one thing on their mind, which was most likely "give me some of that cake!". They all stood around the baby waiting for the okay to have a taste. It was all very cute and exciting to see. I am so glad Morgan and I had the opportunity to work together on a bakery order. I always love learning from her!
